This is How to Still Bank on Slow Nights

Monday and Tuesday this week was DEAD at the club I’ve been working at the last few months. Like the slowest I’ve yet to ever see it. However, I still walked out with a little over $250 each night. This is one of the lowest amounts I’ve taken home from this club, BUT more then a few of the girls took home around $50 for a full nights work. That’s HORRIBLE! If there is one lesson here, it is to KEEP HUSTLING. Even when it’s dead, there are still customers there. If all the customers there are already talking to girls, remember the ones who tip you well on stage. Then when that girl goes up on stage go over and sit with that customer(s) who was tipping you well. Focus on selling them dances, but remember you can’t just go up and starting asking to head back to the couch room. You have to “sell” them first.

All of the selling strategies I and my closest friends use, I go into detail in our e-books “How to Make More Money in the Gentlemen’s Club V2.0″ and our newest one “The Successful Stripper.” You should never walk up to a customer and ask “Do you wanna dance?”, ESPECIALLY when it is slow. What Being a Successful Stripper Really Means

Today we wanted to take a minute to define what makes a Successful Stripper. Is it being the best dancer at the club? Is it having a nice house, car, and clothes? Is it just being happy in general? Let’s take a look at want actually would make a Successful Stripper.

First, there’s two words in the phrase “Successful Stripper.” The first one is “successful.” What makes someone a success? Like we mentioned above, is it having lots of material things? Or is it something different? That’s something everyone has to determine for themselves, but we can tell you what it means to us. Someone who is a success has mastered or accomplished something. The things a stripper can accomplish are numerous, but some of the more difficult things to master is making a lot of money on a consistent basis, finding balance between work and their personal life, and staying focused on why they go to work and what they are there to do when they get there. This criteria doesn’t necessarily apply to just exotic dancers, those qualities are great to have no matter what profession you are in. There are several things that could fall into the category of being successful, but in the stripping business, it can be very easy to be led astray. Staying the course in itself could be considered being successful for a dancer.

The other part of the term we are looking at is the word “Stripper.” We look at this point specifically because we wanted to make the note that you are a stripper at work. It is NOT what defines you outside of work, although some parts of society may try and classify you otherwise. Keep your integrity outside of work by being yourself. Don’t do things outside of work because some of your co-workers are doing it, or because you think you are less then the average person because of your occupation. You are a person. The stigma of being a dancer can be very unfair, but that doesn’t mean you should conform to what others would expect of a stripper outside of work. You don’t need to dress provacative if you aren’t comfortable doing so. You don’t have to go out and party every night. And you certainly don’t have to hang out with other co=workers on your nights off. If you are into theatre, music, cooking, or any other hobbies that others wouldn’t think a dancer would be normally interested in, get out there and do those things that make you happy. Never let someone else’s opinion stop you from being happy or achieving what you dream of. You are not what you do for a living. You are who and what you feel inside. Really, a “Successful Stripper” could be simply defined as being the best you can be at WORK, and leaving that aspect of your life at the door as soon as the night is over.

One of the Biggest Money Makers for Any Dancer, Including You

Paging thru a recent magazine, I was reminded of a great sales technique that fits in perfectly with the dancing profession. It’s something that anyone from the Veteran dancer to the girl who just tried on her first pair of stilleto’s can incorporate. And unlike a new costume or a new fragrance, it won’t cost you a dime. Here’s what it is.

First, think about what all the great money makers in this profession have posessed that you’ve ever come into contact with. If you’re coming up blank, I’ll help you out. Confidence. It’s the single greatest asset you can obtain in this business, if you don’t already have it. And in case you don’t, I’ll give you a couple pointers to get you started.

1. Preparing for work will make you confident. I’m not talking about doing your hair and make-up exactly, but those things being on point will help. I’m talking about knowing how to approach a potential customer, how to ask one for that third and fourth dance. How to appear like you have what the customer is seeking or desiring. And these skills are learned from practice and making the most of your time at work. The more positive you are, the more confident you will be. Keep working everyone, but maintain your confidence about the situation. Just because someone turned you down once, it’s not a given that they will again. Be just as happy and positive as you were the first time you approached them. Have you ever noticed that when you get on a roll at work, it seems like everyone wants a piece of you? There’s many reasons, but the main ones are it builds your confidence and secondly is most people are followers and want what other people have. The busy girl becomes desirable. Be that girl.

2. Secondly, to exhibit the confidence you want to, you must believe in what you’re doing. You must believe that you are offering the best the club has to offer. You must believe that there isn’t one girl there who can do a dance better then you, that there isn’t one other girl there who can give the customer the experience you can offer them (i’m not talking about extras either). This belief is where confidence comes from. Something that definately helps your belief in yourself, is doing your homework. Talking with those who are very successful around you, reading sales books or articles, and most importantly checking this blog, and others =), for tips and info on how to be a successful dancer will give you insight and the knowledge that will boost your confidence 100 fold.
