The Insult Hustle
This post is a bit random, but still has meaning. Have you ever had someone, a waitress, dancer, maybe even a “friend” say something completely disrespectful to you, then minutes later ask for your help? We call this the Insult Hustle. And while we don’t advise using this tactic, we bring it up to make sure you don’t find yourself doing it ever.
Some folks have very low self-esteem and sometimes they feel it necessary to tear others down, even when they are asking someone for a favor. It’s ironic they can’t see that instead of helping their own situation, they’re only making it worse.
They don’t end up getting what they want and they end up looking like an ass or a bitch it the process. It’s too bad for them, but we can learn from these poor people. We see and know what kind of persons they are. We then have a better understanding of them and how not to emulate them. Because if the Insult Hustle isn’t working for them, it’s not going to work for us. We wish them the best of luck.
